The eight meeting of the project team “Efficient usage of solar energy for better future – SP-Future” was held in town of Strumitsa, FYROM

On 10th July 2014, in hotel “Sirius”, town of Strumitsa, FYROM, was held the eight meeting of the project team “Efficient usage of solar energy for better future – SP-Future”.

The objectives of the meeting were:

  • To review and evaluate the project implementation;
  • To discuss the final reports, final payments and transfers between the partners;
  • To prepare a Project Progress Report for the last reporting period.

 

The first project team meeting about the project „Efficient usage of solar energy for better future – SP-Future

 Оn the 22nd of October 2012, the first project team meeting about the project „Efficient usage of solar energy for better future – SP-Future”, took place in the premises “Anton Popov” school, in Petrich, Bulgaria.

The goals of the meeting were to:

  • Present the project, its goals, planned activities and expected results in front of representatives of “Anton Popov” school;
  • Discuss internal project documents – Action plan, Annex 3 of Project Procurement Plan;
  • Study visit – to identify the specific energy needs of “Anton Popov” school as well as oversight of the future construction place of the photo-voltaic equipment


10 members of the project team took part in the meeting – project manager, coordinator, accountant, engineer, administrative assistant, teacher, moderator and a volunteer. These included, three representatives of the project lead partner – Centre for development of South-East Region, two representatives from Petrich municipality, Association of South-Western Municipalities, as well as one representative per each of the following organization - Strumitza municipality, Anton Popov school and a moderator.   

As a result of this meeting, the project team delivered: an Action plan; a Project Procurement Plan;  clearly appointed tasks and responsibilities; Recognizing the positive impact that the project will have on school’s energy consumption, which currently costs 80% of the school’s annual budget. 

 

The fourth project member team meeting about the project „Efficient usage of solar energy for better future – SP-Future” was held in city of Strumitsa, Macedonia

 Оn the 16th July 2013, the fourth  project member team meeting about the project „Efficient usage of solar energy for better future – SP-Future”, took place in the premises of hotel „Sirius”, Strumitza, Republic of Macedonia. 

The goals of the meeting were to:

  • do an overview, oversight and plan the activities related to the project implementation;
  • assess the progress of the project;
  • Second training of enviro-coaches already held in Sandanski
  • Progress report and Request for FLC for current period

7 members of the project team took part in the meeting – project manager, coordinator, accountant, engineer, administrative assistant, and other municipal experts. This included, three representatives of the project partner from the Centre for development of South-East Region, two representatives of the other partner – Association of Southwestern Municipalities, and one representative of the other two partners – Petrich municipality and Strumitza municipality.  

As a result of this meeting, the project team delivered: A plan for establishing the pe-er network of teachers; a completed monitoring of the project’s progress;  midterim evaluation of the project.

At Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, was held the fifth meeting of the project team “Efficient usage of solar energy for better future – SP-Future”

 On 10th October 2013, in hotel “Ezerets”, town of Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria, was held the fifth meeting of the project team “Efficient usage of solar energy for better future – SP-Future”. 

  • The objectives of the meeting were:
  • To review, evaluate and plan the activities related to the project implementation;
  • To discuss the parameters of the Teacher’s Guide;
  • To discuss the creation of a peer network of teachers.

The meeting was attended by seven members of the project team and partner organizations- leader, coordinator, accountant, engineer, municipal experts and financial-administrative assistant. Accordingly, three representatives of the Centre for Development of Southeast planning region as a leading organization of the project, two representatives of the project partner – Association of South Western Municipalities, and two representatives of Municipality of Petrich. 

As a result of the meeting, the team has: a plan for development of a network of teachers; framework for the content of the Manual for teachers; evaluation of the implementation of the activities.
